This purchase grants you an extra prompt ball in the character or setting category for a future contest.
On the application for each contest, there will be a section asking you to suggest prompts you would like to see for the contest. These go into a draw with everyone else’s submissions, and the prompts selected will be the official prompts for the contest. With an extra prompt ball, your suggested prompt will be entered into the character or setting category twice in the same draw.
